PFAS Removal Solutions by InOpSys: Unraveling the Complexities

PFAS Removal Technology

At InOpSys we specialise in the removal of micropollutants. Some of these pollutants are endocrine disruptors (APIs, PFAS, …).

Endocrine disruptors (ED) are chemicals that may interfere with the hormonal system and, as a result of that, produce harmful effects on both humans and wildlife. A wide range of chemicals, both natural and man-made, may cause endocrine disruption1.

Many technologies and companies claim to have the unique solution for PFAS removal. Unfortunately, the reality is complex and the type of PFAS and the wastewater matrix have a very important influence on the removal efficiency, cost and sustainability.

At INOPSYS NV we have been doing many years of R&D and we are now a one-stop shop for PFAS removal challenges. We aim to fully unburden our clients and ensure the BAT is continuously implemented at their site.

Our R&D team is specialized in PFAS analytics and technology screening. We help our customers with the choice of the required technology combination/train.
We are independent from any supplier of IEX, resin or GAK. Our engineering and operations teams provide full on-site system integration and assure continuous optimization due to our flexible, mobile and modular design.

Our solution is compared to standard GAK:

Higher in adsorption capacity

We also have in house PFAS analysis capacity

In our Lab in BlueChem we have installed a UPLC MS-MS to analyze PFAS containing waters.
