Back in 2016, we introduced our WAAS (Water As A Service) and CAAS (Circular Economy As A Service) solutions, driven by our belief that innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability can generate economic value. While technology plays a vital role, the right implementation and the right business model are also essential. With multiple on-site implementations in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, we were able to grow our sustainable activities and company revenue.
Our solutions effectively extract pharmaceuticals, PFAS, metals, and more from hazardous wastewater side streams. Beyond consistent revenue growth, we've made a tangible impact. Over 62,000 cubic meters of hazardous wastewater have been treated on-site. Avoiding over 3,000 truckloads to incineration resulted in the avoidance of 43,000 tons of CO2 emissions and the recovery of 200 kilograms of scarce and precious metals. We're not in the business of selling empty promises; our solutions are proven, reliable, and actively contribute to the fight against climate change.
Today, we are honored and immensely proud to be nominated for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. This recognition of our activities and efforts affirms that we are on the right trajectory, continuously growing as we strive for innovation and to make our mark in Belgium and beyond.
