What is BlueChem? Growth businesses are helping to develop sustainable innovations for the chemistry of the future. The BlueChem incubator, a unique collaboration between industry, government and knowledge institutions, aims to support this.

In 2020, BlueChem opens on the climate-neutral business park Blue Gate Antwerp, at the heart of one of the world’s largest chemical clusters. However, turning promising innovations into new companies is no easy matter in the chemical sector. It takes a lot of time, courage and money to move from a lab setting to an industrial production scale.

BlueChem offers an answer to this in the form of adapted infrastructure, customised services with financial support and direct access to knowledge and expertise within an extensive network of international chemical companies, renowned research centres and the five Flemish universities.

The infrastructure available to us at BlueChem will allow us to further expand our R&D activities.  From 04/2020, InOpSys will have offices in Mechelen and Antwerp.  In this way we can continue to grow and will also be easily accessible to all our customers. www.bluechem.be
